Federer has reached the semifinals of the Indian Wells 2012 tennis tournament in three of the last four years. This year, he won in straight sets against American wild card Denis Kudla 64 61 and eliminated Canada’s #1 player Milos Raonic in three sets to reach the fourth round. He also beat Brazil’s Thomaz Belluci in the fourth round after losing the opening set.

Federer’s 2012 season is so far a model of consistency that has taken him to an 18-2 win-loss record this year. He has won 12 straight matches to date after winning titles in Rotterdam and Dubai. Federer Has won 35 of last 37 matches capturing five titles in seven tournaments. His only losses during this period are to Rafael Nadal in the Australian Open semifinals and to John Isner during the Davis Cup tie last February.
