Preview: World #1 Novak Djokovic is vying for a quarterfinal slot against Spain’s Pablo Andujar as he continues with his defense of the Indian Wells 2012 tennis tournament. The Djokovic vs Andujar match will be broadcast live online through video streaming at the TennisTV.com website. The only previous meeting between the two players was in an Umag, Croatia tennis tournament in 2007. Djokovic won that match in straight sets 61 63.

Djokovic's Indian Wells Record

The world #1 is in the Indian Wells 2012 tennis tournament with a 25-4 match record. Djokovic won titles in 2008 and last year. He beat American Mardy Fish for his first title, and downed Rafael Nadal for his victory last year. He also reached the finals in the 2007 Indian Wells before losing to Nadal. In 2009, he lost to American Andy Roddick. This year, he opened his campaign with a 63 62 win over qualifier Andrey Golubev. He beat No. 29 seed Kevin Anderson of South Africa in the third round before his three-set triumph over Pablo Andujar 60 67(5) 62.

Djokovic's 2012 Season

The 24-year old Serb is 12-1 for the 2012 season and he’s looking to reach the quarter-finals in his third tournament. He won his fifth career Grand Slam title at last January's Australian Open where he defeated Andy Murray and Nadal in the semifinals and finals. In his last tournament in Dubai, he reached the semifinals before losing in straight sets to Andy Murray. Djokovic is at the top of the ATP tennis rankings for the 37th consecutive week.
