How much money will winners at the 2012 Sony Ericsson Open held in Miami win? Outside of the Grand Slams, the 2012 Miami tennis tournaments offers one of the biggest prize money earnings for players. The men's singles tournament winner will take home $659,775 with the men's singles runner-up winning $321,990. The women's singles tournament winner will take home $712,000 while the runner-up wins $352,000. The men's doubles winning team will split $216,190 while the women's doubles team will share $241,010. Both world #1 players Novak Djokovic and Victoria Azarenka are the defending champions. Both players also lead the 2012 prize money earnings in men's and women's tours with Djokovic earning $2,664,106 to date and Azarenka having a haul of $3,927,423.
