Vancouver Davis Cup 2012: France vs Canada, TV Schedule, Tickets, Results

The Thunderbird Sports Centre in Vancouver, Canada will host the France vs Canada World Group first round tie from February 10-12, 2012. The surface is hard (premier) and all matches will be played indoors. On paper, France will be favored to win over Canada due to higher ranked participants, but Canada will be fighting hard and will have the home court advantage. France is currently ranked 4th in the ITF rankings while Canada is ranked 14th. France has won the Davis Cup for 9 years, the latest being in 2001. It has been runner-up 7 times, the latest in 2010 when it was beaten by Serbia. Canada has not reached a Davis Cup final to date. The only match-up between France and Canada in Davis Cup history was in 1966 at the Europe, Zone A - Quarterfinal.
