Milos Raonic is building on his success this season after being named the ATP Newcomer of the Year for 2011. Raonic's ranking is currently at #35, and he has won two of the first three tournaments he has entered, and is one of the favorites to win the Memphis 2012 tournament this week where he finished runner-up to Andy Roddick last year. His total career earnings have now gone beyond the $1million mark and is currently ranked #476 in men’s tennis career prize money leaders. His total earnings are listed at $1,023,892 which includes the $225,161 he has earned in his first three tournaments this year. He earned $649,499 in 2011 where he compiled a 31-19 win-loss record and won the tournament at San Jose.

He is also the ATP leader in percentage of service points won with 84% and in total aces with 190 for the year. He also has the highest percentage of saving break points faced with 84% saved – ahead of veterans Andy Roddick and Roger Federer. Raonic is also improving in the following areas: percentage of return games won and first serves return points won. As one of the highest achieving young tennis players, Raonic is expected to challenge for his first ATP World Tour Masters 1000 crown at the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, or the Sony Ericsson Open in Miami. Raonic who was born in Montenegro and is an immigrant in Canada is very popular in both Canada and Serbia. With his talent, Raonic’s ranking and prize money are bound to go higher this year.
