Edberg and Becker Interview in Bastad - July 2012 (Video)

>> Wednesday, July 11, 2012

Growing up in the late 1980s and early 1990s, Sweden's Stefan Edberg has been one of my favorite players. He was very mild mannered, and he had an elegant game. His main rivals were Boris Becker and Ivan Lendl, and to some extent, Pete Sampras and Andre Agassi. He reached all four Grand Slam finals winning twice at the Australian Open, Wimbledon, and the US Open. He lost a memorable 1989 final at Roland Garros to a 17-year old Michael Chang. I was very excited to watch a recent interview video of Stefan Edberg with long-time rival Boris Becker at the 2012 Bastad ATP tournament. Watch the Edberg - Becker recent interview here.
