Andy Murray cries in Wimbledon Finals Speech (Video)

Andy Murray, the first finalist in Wimbledon from the United Kingdom in over 70 years, cries as he gave his runner-up speech after the Wimbledon 2012 men's final. Murray lost a tough 4-6 7-5 6-3 6-4 to new world no. 1 Roger Federer and he lost control of his emotions during the awards ceremony. Murray fought tears and struggled to speak - his first words were "I'm getting closer..." before he fought again to regain composure. The crowd cheered and clapped while Murray spoke through tears, "I'm going to try but it's not going to be easy..." he stammered before losing composure again. It is probably one of the more recent memorable speeches as a young tennis player lets his emotions out after the pressure of being the best hope to end Britain's drought of not having a men's champion since Fred Perry in 1936. Say what you will, this blogger just became an Andy Murray fan today. Watch the video below:
