He will reach this milestone if he beats Roger Federer, the record holder with a total of $68 MILLION in prize money earnings. If Murray doesn't win the Dubai 2012, he will surely reach the milestone simply by winning a few rounds each in the rich American tournaments in Indian Wells and Miami this coming month.
