Federer beats Nadal in 2010 ATP World Tour Finals
Roger Federer ended his 2010 tennis season with a dominating third set performance to beat rival and world #1 Rafael Nadal 6-3, 3-6, 6-1 in the finals of the Barclays 2010 ATP World Tour Finals. The win was the Swiss' fifth year-end championship title, while the Spaniard has still to win one. It also marked the 66th ATP title for Roger Federer.

Federer also won the title in 2003, 2004, 2006, and 2007. He was beaten by David Nalbandian in 2005. Federer won his 5th title for the year adding to the titles he won in the Australian Open, Cincinnati, Stockholm and Basel. He will remain at #2 in the world rankings behind Nadal who had a phenomenal year by winning the last three majors of the year. It was a fitting end to a season where Federer was beaten after having held match points in multiple occassions - including a semifinal loss to Novak Djokovic in the US Open.

Federer is the most dominant player in the ATP world tour finals in the past 10 years. Below is a list of players that have won the year-end championships in this decade.
