Roger Federer tops the current list of ATP Men's Tennis Career Prize Money Leaders. In the rankings released earlier this month, the 16-time Grand Slam champion from Switzerland is the top earner with almost $57.9 million. Retired American legend Pete Sampras is a far second with $43.3 million. Current world #1, Rafael Nadal of Spain is now at #3 with $34.9 million earned. Nadal dislodged Andre Agassi from the top 3 this year with the American slipping to #4. Agassi's career earnings is at $31.2 million, ahead of German champion Boris Becker who occupies the 5th slot with $25.1 million.

Six other active players are ranked in the top 20. The next highest active player on the list behind Federer and Nadal is current world #3 Novak Djokovic. The Serb just rose to #10 in this list with his latest tournament earnings pushing his total to $19.2 million. Former #1 players LLeyton Hewitt and Andy Roddick occupy the 12th and 13th places respectively - with earnings of $18.8 million and $18.7 million. Russian Nikolay Davydenko is at #17 with $14.1 million. Spaniards Carlos Moya and Juan Carlos Ferrero are at #19 and #20 with $13.4 million and $13.3 million, respectively. With just a few tournaments left in the year, another active player can reach the top 20 by performing well in his last events. World #4 Andy Murray currently sits at #21 with $12.9 million.
